Preparations for the II International Law Forum “Tashkent Law Spring” have begun

The forum is organized for the second time by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the assistance of a number of partner organizations.

For information: The first International Law Forum “Tashkent Law Spring” was first held in April 2019. Forum brought together over 1,200 lawyers and representatives from other fields. 250 of them are foreign participants from more than 40 countries of the world. During the sessions of the forum, 134 experts made presentations, including about 100 of them from abroad. The forum concluded 12 memoranda and agreements. Tashkent Law Spring events were covered by about 100 national and foreign media representatives.

The 2019 International Legal Forum aroused keen interest among both local and foreign experts in the field of jurisprudence, which prompted the organizers to organize a similar event in 2020.

Today, IT technologies are increasingly used in all areas of life. Strengthening globalization and the rapid development of the global Internet and artificial intelligence directly affect the sphere of law. Given the importance of legal regulation of these issues, the main theme of the II International Legal Forum is defined as “Vision of Law in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Right 4.0. ”.

At the same time, within the framework of the forum, it is planned to discuss relevant aspects of mediation, arbitration, advocacy, corporate governance, securities, intellectual property, public-private partnerships, combating corruption and compliance, combating monopoly, legal education and science, and others in the context of large-scale digitalization.

The forum is expected to involve ministers of justice of Uzbekistan and several foreign countries, heads of judicial and other state bodies, representatives of international organizations, leading world legal and consulting firms, lawyers, well-known scientists, specialists and experts in the fields of jurisprudence, international law and economics.

The event participants will have the opportunity to attend about 20 discussion sessions, round tables, workshops and presentations, listen to lectures by international and national experts, exchange views and experience with colleagues from different countries.

Forum events will be held in the state (Uzbek), Russian and English languages.
